Apples to Apples

Medical muralist and art activist, Regina Holliday, used data sets from Data Access - Community Health Data Initiative - Interim Work Page and data.medicare.gov. She was helped in her data gathering by Dr. Ted Eytan. She created a painting using that data to describe George Washington University Hospital based on its HCAHPS Survey results and other available clinical results data. Furthering her quest for more open communication in data and medicine, she visualized this piece as a plein air work. She worked in the "open" publicly talking to each passerby about the meaning of the available hospital data. Two videographers: Ben Crosbie and Tessa Moran filmed the interactions with the data and the public.
