This webpage displays in real-time the most dangerous mines in the United States based on recent earthquakes. The mines are shown in both list form and map form. Data is actually pulled from two data.gov sources: "Worldwide M1+ Earthquakes, Past 7 Days" and "Active Mines and Mineral Plants in the US".
Danger to the mines is calculated on each earthquake's distance from the mine, the magnitude of the earthquake, and the amount of time passed since the earthquake occurred.
