GovStats.org helps normal people (i.e. people that don't want to dig through huge spreadsheets of data) learn about complicated economic statistics and trends through easy-to-understand interactive charts.
It also provides a platform for people to discuss what they're learning and offers links to other places where they could learn more about specific topics.
Note to the judges: The data used for this app was downloaded about a month ago from data.gov, but since then seems to have been moved or removed. You can download the source data used for the app here: http://www.govstats.org/BEA_Data.zip . Thanks!
