Say you're reading a newspaper article online and you come across an interesting quote from an unfamiliar senator. (Happens to me all the time.) To learn more about them, highlight a name and click on the Know Thy Congressman bookmarklet. You'll bring up a detailed display with all the dirt on that legislator: earmarks requested, bills introduced, contact information, photos of, articles concerning, and so on. An informed citizenry is the bulwark of democracy; know thy congressman, know thyself.
